Bill Mason


The Man Behind the Beat

 Bill comes from a family of drummers, receiving his 1st drum around 3 years old. His father played the club scene in the late 1940s through the 1950s and music was a staple of the Mason household. Bill started his professional career at just 15 years old with the band Premonition. Playing the legendary club McVanâs in Buffalo, NY. In the early 1980s he helped form Buffalo's original new wave rock act, The Employeez. 


 The Employeez quickly gained attention with their recording and live show performances. Bill has shared the stage with The Romantics, INXS, Boys Brigade, Patty Smyth, Scandal, The Psychedelic Furs, and Boy George and Culture Club at Buffalo's Memorial Auditorium, playing to audiences as large as 16,000 fans. 


 Bill is a very active member of the Buffalo Drummers community, helping connect drummers and percussionist around the area. Bill is a former member of Rock Angel and can currently be found on stage with LiTHiUM, Eminence Front & Company, The Mo Porter Band, The American Doors, The Release and Roadtrip.
